DIY: Makeup Brush Organizer (easy & inexpensive!)

Hey Gorgeous!

Was there ever a point where you wondered where to store your makeup brushes? How to organize the way you want them for easy access when doing your makeup? Are all your brushes just lying around everywhere your dresser or desk, and you're always having a hard time finding which one to use because they're all scattered? If the answer is yes, then you came to the right place sweetie, because today I want to share with you a step-by-step and a very simple and easy way on how to make your own makeup brush organizer. :)

   Here's mine.

It's really a fun DIY to do, plus it will look gorgeous on your vanity, I swear! You can customize however you want it to look. Mine, I designed it by placing the smallest tube at the front for smaller and shorter brushes, medium to large tubes at the back for bigger and taller brushes. I'm very happy and satisfied the way this turned out, it looks very attractive, and what I love about this is that it has loads of compartment and it's not very hard to do. It's really cool to store all your makeup brushes this way! I love being very organized with all my things. It makes life a lot easier, and it feels good to see all your stuff very sleek, neat, and clean.

Now, let's get right ahead.
Things that you will need: **credits to the owners of the pictures

  •  a circular base (or any shape according to your preference)

  • any cylinder shaped objects (I used kitchen roll tubes)

  • magazine covers, paper bags, colored papers, etc. (I used a lavender gift wrapper)

  • adhesive

  • sticky tape

  • scissors

   Here's how:
  1. You want to arrange the kitchen roll tubes however you want the brush holder to look like on the base.
  2. Cut them to your desired size and height
  3. For the smallest tube which you want to place at the front, shape and cut it diagonally downward to give it a cute and decent style.
  4. Cover them up with magazine covers, paper bags, colored papers, etc. I chose to use a lavender gift wrapper because it's my favorite color.
  5. Secure them with sticky tape
  6. Using the adhesive, glue the bottom of the tubes and stick them onto the base plate.
  7. Make sure to wait for the glue to completely dry so the tubes won't fall off.
  8. Arrange all your brushes, and viola! You're done!

Now, finding and choosing which brush to use is a breeze! It just all starts with being organized. Be creative and innovative. :)
